Very interesting experience there again, filming the un-describable phenomenon that is Dr Lloyd Miller for a few weeks in Utah & Nevada. From my sound point of view, there was a lot of live jazz & oriental music to record, which is always great and rare to do within the context of filming (my beginnings in audio were in the music recording world, and I myself have been playing music since the age of 6). We were mostly in Salt Lake City, then travelled through the national parks of Southern Utah and ended up in Las Vegas. Some of our backdrops for scenes & jams filmed in southern Utah were absolutely jaw-dropping. This was shot by Rich Mitchell, with whom I only ever seem to work on different continents despite being both London based!
